Converseational AI Voice to Text
Recordo is a mobile productivity app built to let users generate invoices from spoken voice recordings. It combines voice capture with an AI-powered engine that converts recordings into structured, editable invoices, then exports them as PDFs directly to cloud storage. The project was fully built and later discontinued due to security and infrastructure complications.
Problem
The project required processing voice recordings through an AI engine to output structured HTML invoices. Enabling real-time in-app editing with live rendering before final PDF generation added complexity, and the platform needed to avoid local storage risks by uploading invoices straight to external cloud services.
Our Proposed Solutions
DevExcel developed a native audio recording module that captures voice input and bundles audio files with AI API payloads for processing into invoice data. An in-app HTML editing engine provides real-time previews before generating a final PDF, and direct cloud sync uploads finalized invoices to OneDrive, Google Drive, and iCloud.
