Smart Script Rehearsal Assistant
Sergio is a mobile platform built for performing arts students and actors to practice and record auditions more effectively. It combines digital script management with an in-app teleprompter and recording tool, plus a direct export pipeline to casting directors. iOS development is complete and Android is nearing completion, with release currently on hold.
Problem
Actors traditionally relied on paper scripts to learn lines, making practice inefficient and hard to track. Rehearsal sessions were difficult to record and organize to track skill progression, self-recording without teleprompter support made delivery cumbersome, and sharing audition tapes with casting directors lacked a structured process.
Our Proposed Solutions
DevExcel built a mobile platform letting performing arts students upload and organize digital scripts in one place. An in-app teleprompter with integrated video recording lets actors practice hands-free, and a direct export pipeline lets actors share audition tapes straight to casting directors for evaluation.
